JAN REDFORD is the author of the newly-released memoir, End of the Rope: Mountains, Marriage, and Motherhood. Her stories, articles, and personal essays have been published in The Globe and Mail, National Post, Mountain Life, Explore, and various anthologies, and have won or been shortlisted in several writing contests. She holds a master’s degree in creative writing from UBC. She lives with her family in Squamish, BC, Canada, where she mountain bikes, trail runs, climbs, and skis.
