Meeta Kaur is the creator and editor of the short story collection Her Name Is Kaur: Sikh American Women Write Above Love, Courage, and Faith. Kaur also developed the online sister forum to the anthology, the Sikh Love Stories Project. Kaur has written for NPR, blogged for Hyphen Magazine, and Asian Week. She won the Elizabeth George grant for fiction, and has been granted multiple retreats at the Hedgebrook Writing Residency.
