Born in Argentina, Josephine moved to Pittsburgh, PA with her family as an infant, and shortly thereafter began cooking alongside her grandma, Dorita, who instilled in her a love of all things Argentine, including its cuisine and dulce de leche. Some thirty-years later, Josephine, is forging her way through a second act as the founder of La Dorita Cooks, an all-natural line of dulce de leche products and Pittsburgh’s first incubator kitchen. Josephine is also the author of the cookbook-as-food-memoir, “Dulce de Leche: Recipes, Stories, and Sweet Traditions” (Burgess Lea Press, February 2017).
