Ihar Kazak 

Born in Eastern Europe, lived in West Germany, East Africa, and West Switzerland, he now resides in Central Florida. Formerly an interpreter, he is now a literary translator from Belarusian/Russian. His pioneering work from Russian to English of the humorist émigré writer Arkady Averchenko is well known, as are his translations of the renowned authors Vasyl Bykov and Leanid Levanovich from the Belarusian. His latest book is a collection of short stories: The Tales of Oleg (St. Petersburg, 2016)
