I write book reviews for the TLS and the Washington Post, among other places. I’ve taught English in Japan and worked in book publishing in NYC, and I just moved back to the US after nine years abroad – eight in the UK and one in Japan. In 2015, I finished a PhD at the University of Cambridge on representations of abortion in literature and film.
