Dawn Dorland, MTS, MFA, is a fiction and nonfiction writer whose work concerns rural poverty, gender, race, and class. A 2020 Writing By Writers Fellow and a 2014 Vermont Studio Center Fellow,  Dawn’s debut novel-in-progress Econoline has been supported by over a dozen national arts organizations including the Tin House Summer Workshops, Ragdale, the Community of Writers in the High Sierras, and more. A graduate of Scripps College, Harvard Divinity School, and the MFA program at the University of Maryland, Dawn lives with her family in Los Angeles in a house with a yellow door.
