Live as if you're November
Let the hard memories wither away
as the leaves crumble and descend.
The ones that have been nestled in your body,
shadows of remains.
The ones that no longer need to stay
when you must feed what is pure.
Take a deep breath in
and breathe out past pain in the November winds.
And while you can't quite forget, truly forget,
your weight can be lifted
and placed aside.
Let November carry your load
Let November winds howl in an awakening.
