Natalka Burian ’s debut young adult novel Welcome to the Slipstream is forthcoming from Merit Press.
Marcia Butler’s memoir, The Skin Above My Knee , will be published by Little, Brown in February. Marcia was also awarded a Writer in Residence through Aspen Words, where she worked on her new novel, tentatively titled South Sidewalk .
Glendaliz Camacho is the Fall Writer in Residence at Kerouac House .
Nicole Cammorata just began the MFA program at The New School.
Linda Chavers was a runner-up for the 2016 Graving Grain Press Chapbook Contest , judged by Lily Hoang, and her chapbook, (This Fucking Body is) Never Yours will be published by that press.
Yvonne Conza ’s short story “In My Dream” was published in F(r)iction #5 . Here you can listen to Yvonne discuss the process of publishing the story, and here you can hear a little bit from artist Eren Angiolini about creating original artwork for the piece.
