Adam Elayan : There are a couple essential moves in wrestling that you can practice by yourself: sprawls, shots, and footwork. Other moves like takedowns and grappling requires you a partner. Sprawling is a way to sway your legs back down to the ground in order to avoid being taken down. Make sure you emphasize on waist and hip power when you land of the floor. Just take a mat and go up and down repeat the moves. There are lots of videos of sprawling and it is one of the most basic moves in wrestling. You can also practice shots at home.
