“Fueled by the 2016 campaign, ugly prejudices deeply rooted in our community would slither into the light.”
By day, Rebecca Renner is an American literature and creative writing teacher. By night, she writes fiction and obsesses about books. She is also an MFA candidate at Stetson University, and she’s the founding editor-in-chief of their experimental literary journal Obra/Artifact. A seventh-generation Floridian, Rebecca’s main area of study has been the ecology, culture, and downright weirdness of her home. When not reading, hiking, blogging, traveling, exploring, or playing with her dog and kitten, Rebecca binge watches Netflix and plots world domination on Twitter.
